Karongi (Kibuye)

Kibuye is a city in Karongi District,The city lies on the eastern shores of Lake Kivu, between Gisenyi and Cyangugu.Tourism is one of the main economic sectors of Kibuye, the beautiful scenery and its many islands are the main draws. There are many resort and hotels which have been built outside the town of Kibuye, most on the shores of Lake Kivu.
